The Face of Phil Collins

I was watching "I Love the 80's Part 40" or whatever on VH1, and they started talking about the video for "Land of Confusion" by Genesis. This is hard to admit, but there may be some aspects of that song that I sort of like...It's certainly not the lyrics; awkward, fist raising political platitudes. I think it's the "waooo-ooo" part on the chorus. I don't know. But I did say I am embarrassed, okay?

Anyway, the video was composed of a bunch of truly frightening puppets based on 80's political figures (Ronald Reagan, Pope John Paul, etc). There's also a puppet version of Genesis. And that's where the problem is.

We all know that Phil Collins is one of the ugliest men ever born. I don't think anyone is going to argue with me on that one. But the puppet version of Phil is the most hideous thing I have ever seen. I mean it. Imagine his grotesque, shrunken, radish-like features further twisted and pinched, his moist, rotting lips the nexus of nausea. I actually had a nightmare about it. I wish I could find a picture of this puppet so you would all suffer the way I have.
